In Brownsville a 22 year old Fort Worth woman was arrested when customs and Border Protection officers at an international bridge in Del Rio found an arsenal of high powered weapons in her vehicle.  Officers on Tuesday found 14 assault rifles a shotgun a pistol 22 assorted gun magazines and 25 rounds of ammunition in the trunk of the car, which was bound for Mexico.

In other seizures Tuesday, border Patrol agents in Abram seized 50 pounds of cocaine valued at more than $1.6 million and customs officers seized $3.2 million worth of cocaine and $1.4 million of herion in the Rio Grande Valley.

A 26 year old Matamoras, Mexican man was arrested after custom officials reported finding cocaine load valued at 1.74 million in his Mini Cooper. The seizure occurred Thursday at the Brownsville and Matamoras International Bridge. Officers reported finding 22 packages of cocaine weighing about 55 pounds.
